イスラエル首相府はXなどを通じて以下の通り発表した。
イスラエルとシリアは安全保障問題に関して現状維持に合意していたが、シリアはアレッポ近郊の航空基地へのトルコ軍の展開を認めることで、この現状維持を破ろうとしていた。
イスラエルは、そのような展開がイスラエルの安全保障への脅威になるとシリアに繰り返し警告した。シリアは、これらの警告を無視することを選んだ。
イスラエルは、自国の安全保障に対する脅威を容認せず、現状維持への復帰を歓迎する。
